Indian Students in Germany
There are several reasons why students from all over the world choose to study in Germany. In recent years, the number of Indian students studying in Germany has risen steadily. The number of Indian students in Germany has increased by 20.85 percent over the past year, according to the latest data from the Federal Statistical Office of Germany (Winter Semester 2020-21). Post Study Work Permit
All but a few of Germany’s institutions provide free or low-cost education, and many of them are accessible to Indian students. As an international student in Germany, you are simply required to make a “semester contribution” toward your tuition. You pay a certain sum of money each semester to use various university services, such as bus transportation and administrative help.
Germany’s manufacturing and engineering industries, as well as the country’s strong economic development, have long been well-known. The country has one of the lowest unemployment rates in Europe, thanks to its free public university education and low cost of living. Indian and foreign students who are not EU/EEA citizens are also permitted to work part-time in Germany in addition to their studies for 120 full days or 240 half days each year.
Test Requirement for Masters Courses
GRE
As a gauge of potential for postgraduate study, the Graduate Record Examination, administered by Educational Testing Services (ETS), has gained widespread acceptance. At German universities, the test scores are accepted and recognized. Despite the fact that institutions recognise the GRE Assessments, you may be required to take a separate subject GRE test.
GMAT
Postgraduate studies in management/business/finance typically need the GMAT, or Graduate Management Aptitude Test. The same is true for Germany. In German universities among those that offer MBA programmes to overseas students, the GMAT exam is widely acknowledged as a measure of business knowledge. You should be aware that for MBA programmes, certain colleges may also need a GRE instead of a GMAT.
